Celebrating 'El día del Libro' in Madrid. I've chosen one old, borrowed by my father, and one new, that it has been a gift. Two more for my collection!

Impedimenta is one of my favourite editorials ever. I love everything they published, both outside and inside. Perfect to collectors. [*]

Whenever I start a new year I have the feeling that the counter is reset and I have a book with blank pages to fill with whatever you want. But if also start a decade, then that feeling is multiplied by a thousand and you feel an obligation to live the first of that decade as you would be the remaining nine. Although, always keeping the best memories and experiences of the past, those who have served you to learn. All these we must save them for later use whenever we feel lost or needed.
So ... Happy Decade! You know, [*]

Just ♥ Rockwell

The other day I bought this book. It is about the painter Norman Rockwell. I love both the time it portrays, the society of the 30's, 40's, 50's... in United States, and by the way it treats the topics he chose. Some of an informal style and others with impressive strength and hyper. Occasionally, I rescue of my library and look out at that time and the great art of Rockwell.

Just knowing Eloise

I'd never heard about Eloise since someone told about her. Since then, I don't know how I have had a chillhood without this awsome stories. Eloise is a 6 years old who lives in the Hotel Plaza in New York. It's 50' and her parents are very busy, so a nanny take cares of her and Eloise  is dedicated to making all sorts of mischief in his particular life.

Eloise has been in Paris, Russia and, besides, she tells us how is her day to day in New York and how spends her Christmas. These great designs are created by Kay Thompson and Hilary Knight and in this edition of "The Ultimate Edition" are the four stories that exist about Eloise.
The same Christian Dior and his assistant, Yves Saint Laurent, have designed a dress and she is always with Sweennie, his pug, and her turtle. It's lovely, isn't it?

I'm not a little girl anymore but, just in case I already have my Eloise book.

I've felt in love (again)

                                                                        (* Fotos: Moleskine)

But these ones are differents. They are made for note everything related your hobbies. I already order the recipes journal (my super favourite) and the films one. They come with stickers and special bookmarks to mark the ones you like, rate and decorate your notes. Don't you love them? I just ♥ ...

Quiero, mejor dicho, NECESITO estos "passions journals". Es el nuevo capricho creado por Moleskine. Y... Simplemente ♥ ...

When a secret vice becomes a real hobby

I don't know what the summer has that makes me an hiperactive person. The last idea, get a notebook (yes, I know I have a lot in home that I've never used) to customize and make it my book of inspiration. This has been the result.

The idea it's to paste in it articles that I like, note the name of the artists I want to keep in mind, or the books I want to read. Note recipes. Keep the photos of the shoes I want, the travel I want to do or anything that I love. Well, you know... [*]

And yes... okay, I confess! The real reason brought me to do this is that I love the stationary. Since I was a child, one of the greatest pleasures for me is to go to a stationary store. I love how it smells and, once inside, I don't have salvation possible. I have to buy millions of things.  For example, I bought these nice stickers to mark pages and the stripped tape during my last trip to France.  And I'd never used them before. At least, with this hobby I can use all I buy, don't you think? :)
