While I was traveling to Spain, I just could enjoy of these awesome views thinking in all the good things have happened to me in 2011 and knowing that 2012 it will be much better! I wish to all of you the same feeling! A dreamy 2012 it's coming... [*]

Here, in my room

That's the way I lived for ten days while I tried to search a home. At the end, and for save my economy, I decided to move into a friend's house until I found some place to live. So hard to find a place here in Amsterdam! But, as it says, nothing lasts forever, nor the problems. So while I were a homeless I decided to enjoy the experience. I've always loved the hotels and their small details. The amenities, the breakfast... Oh man, I could live forever in one of that. The picture above it's from my (awesome) room in a small hotel boutique called Chic & Basic Amsterdam.
Before that, I was in a NH Hotel and I loved the key cards. It was a matter of luck but they gave me this two:

The macaron and the chili. In that moment I thought: just like the life is. Sometimes sweet and sometimes spicy. I love this funny coincidences. But the really funny amenities were these of Chic & Basic Amsterdam.

I only can say to that: Amen... That what I was thinking while I ate my Wok a walk in my hotel's room.

Yes. Incredible how the time passed away, but yes, It has passed a month since I arrived to Amsterdam. With the only company of my luggage and my laptop.
That's the reason I've changed my header and the design of my blog (a master piece of Beth Février, BTW). To start this new stage. With the beautiful and romantic skyline of this amazing city. All here is perfect. Or, that's the way it looks to me. Even when the begginings were not too easy. Or, at least, as easy as the (cute) manual for expats from I Amsterdam said. The truth is I am not an expat so it's not a book made for me but, anyway, I love its design and I found some useful information despite everything.
But the really useful manual that is helping it's the people I've met here. Thanks to all of them, because, in other way, Amsterdam and this first month it wouldn't be the same. They are making this city as magic as it must be.
Oh boy... I really love this place!
